Empowering Women: AJK College's Seminar for Personal & Professional Growth

AJK College of Arts and Science Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC, in association with the Department of Women Studies, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, organized a One Day Seminar on Capacity Building and Personality Development for UG/PG Girl Students on February 14th, 2024. The seminar, funded by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi, aimed to empower young women with essential skills and insights for personal and professional growth.

Led by esteemed resource persons Mrs. Salini Prapha, Life Skill Coach and Therapist, Ms. Deephika.A INMO NLP Master Practitioner Life Coach, Coimbatore, and Mrs. Pavithra Ajmeer Haja Mydeen, Technical Trainer and Software Testing Engineer, the seminar provided students with valuable tools and techniques for enhancing their capacities and personality traits.

Students actively participated in interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions designed to foster self-awareness, confidence, and resilience. The seminar covered topics such as communication skills, emotional intelligence, goal setting, and career development, equipping attendees with practical strategies for navigating various aspects of life and work.

In addition to the informative sessions, traditional cultural events were performed, adding a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere to the seminar. The event underscored AJK College's commitment to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and creating inclusive spaces for learning and personal development.
