AJKCAS Centre for Research in Management Studies, the research unit of AJK College of Arts and Science has been approved by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and recognized by UGC. The Centre provides expert supervision and support to research aspirants in the field of Management Studies, and approved research projects will be awarded a Ph.D. degree by Bharathiar University. The aim of this centre is to support a variety of management-related research and intellectual activities. This centre is intended to help grow intellectual capital not only within the college research centre, and also to provide AJKCAS with a platform to broaden their research initiatives at various levels in the future. Ph.D. programme is focused on contemporary global business demands, as well as the application of managerial expertise towards smarter decision making / problem solving. Research programme is concentrated on the field of Operations Research, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Knowledge Management, Data Science and Quality Management.
Our research centre promotes the following activities in stages to encourage intellectual progress:
- Providing professional guidance and help to anyone interested in pursuing research in the field of Management Studies.
- In-house publications by staff members of the college.
- Organize conferences and symposium on different management disciplines.
- Joint research work and publications by students and faculty.
- Establish connections with agencies like UGC and others to gain access to funding for various seminars, symposiums, and other research initiatives.
- Conduct Faculty Development Programmes/Workshops for budding researchers on research methodologies.
