DESIGNER’S MERGE CLUB

Art and design stimulate creativity and imagination. It enables to communicate what we see, feel and think through the use of color, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes. The Designer’s Merge Club of AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore aims to promote creativity and increase the technical knowledge and productivity by conducting various interactive workshops and hands on fun teaching sessions in costume design and fashion.

OBJECTIVES

To develop creativity skills in fashion.
To establish a visual understanding by combining aspects of colour and fabric textures.
To develop knowledge about fashion psychology, fashion designers and fashion centers.
To conduct ramp show, to create interest among the public to spread awareness about new arrivals in design and style.
To form strong, lasting connections with a variety of fashion professionals.
To form connections with creative directors for magazines and publications so they can share their creations with a wider audience.
