At AJKCAS, Placement time is not a mere annual ritual; it is a time for showcasing the very best among our young graduates to the industrial world. The Placement & Training Cell functions with the primary aim of placing students in top-notch companies even before they have completed their courses. The Placement & Training cell goes all out to train the students to meet the high industry expectations.
Objectives
The objectives of Placement cell are manifold. They include: Tenetur voluptates fugit nulla sunt ab cum.
- Developing the students' technical knowledge and soft skills to meet the corporate recruitment process.
- To motivate students to develop their overall personality in terms of career planning and goal setting which will stand them in good stead even after getting the job.
- To motivate students aspire for higher studies and guiding them to take competitive exams (Coordinate with AJK Academy for Competitive Exams) such as TNPSC, BANK EXAMS, Railway exams, Civil service, CAT, GATE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and IELTS.

Placement training plays a major role in shaping up the career goals of students. It is the dream of every graduate to get placed in a top organization visiting their campus for recruitment. Keeping this key aspect into consideration, it is realized that training is important for the graduates to enhance their employability skills and achieve good placement in various Industries.
At present, the competition for employment is increasing every day and placement has become a challenging task. Training of students and equipping them with life skills has become an important responsibility of the institution. Along with technical expertise, development of a holistic personality is also necessary. To meet out these requirements, a full fledged training cell is operating in our college to enhance the capabilities of graduates on a par with the industry standards..
Objectives

Training Activities
- Create awareness about “career planning" and "career mapping" among the students.

- Organize Various Training Programmes to train the students in the areas of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal reasoning through the reputed external training organizations and in-house trainers.
- Train the students through Mock Interviews to perform well in the professional interviews as per the expectations of the corporate world.
- Train the students in group discussion techniques.
- Conduct online tests and written aptitude tests.

The AJK College of Arts & Science has an active Placement Cell, which takes initiative for placing students in reputed companies with attractive salary. It also conducts Excel MET (Mathematics, English & Technical) Programme, Career guidance, Aptitude & Mock interview.
It also provides special communication skill classes from the First year onwards for the benefit of the students.
