RED RIBBON CLUB

Red Ribbon is a globally recognised symbol for HIV/AIDS awareness. Establishment of Red Ribbon Clubs was an important initiative undertaken by the Government of India to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and associated myths among the youth and empower them as per educators.

OBJECTIVES

To create awareness among youth on health and HIV/AIDS
To improve skills among youth on self-protection
To educate the students to participate in the fight against HIV/AIDS
To create awareness and promote voluntary blood donation on youth.
To motivate youth and build their capacity and developing their skills on leadership and team building.
To serve as forums for students to participate in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
To promote voluntary blood donation among youth.
To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and change agents by developing their skills on leadership, negotiation, and team building
