AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore is the first recognized college under Bharathiar University to have come up with a postgraduate degree in cyber security. Post Graduate Program in Cyber Security is a specialized field in Information Technology that is provided at AJK College of Arts and Science and aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to defend computer operating systems, networks, and data from cyber-attacks. Cyber Security is the study of how computer systems and networks can be protected from theft or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data, and also the disruption of the services that they provide.

The Cyber Security course at AJK College teaches the students how to identify computer system vulnerabilities, recognize digital exploitation, and also prevent damage such as loss of data, loss of money through viruses, and so on. This PG program helps the student to develop practical applied skills suitable to both the latest and emerging demands in the cyber security field. The post-graduate Cyber Security program aims to master the current and most suitable tools, techniques, strategies, and technologies and hence to be interpretative about how establishments manage security.
