INSTITUTION'S INNOVATION COUNCIL
Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has established 'MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC)' to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Primary focus of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative years.
IC has envisioned encouraging creation of "Institution's Innovation Council (IICs)" across selected HEIs. A network of these IICs are established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campuses.
As per the guidelines of Ministry of Education, AJK College of Arts and Science had established Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) in the year 2018 with a vision of nurturing the culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship among the students and faculty, incubating ideas in the field of electronics, catering science and hotel management, costume designing, commerce, computer science and biotechnology.
Objectives of IIC
- To explore innovative and creative ideas in various domains from faculty members and students.
- To create a platform for the creative aspirants, where their innovative ideas and concepts will be incubated and realized.
- To identify the budding entrepreneurs, groom them and help them to become successful businessmen.
- To inculcate generation of IPR's among the faculty members, students and Innovators.
