To create leaders and managers with advanced executive skills who will lead, change and act as strategic accelerators in the customer-driven global network in the aviation industry, responsible for instilling high standards and values in their teams to ensure success.

About the Department

The department aims to produce aviation management professionals who will understand the importance of the aviation industry, apply modern management concepts, and enabling them to act more quickly in a changing global and competitive aviation sector. The studies will focus on the multi- disciplinary skills, enabling to identify the problems and trends, make managerial decisions independently, form teams required for their implementation, and organize the necessary activities. The teaching methodology is a blend of theory and interactive sessions, field work, projects and presentations.

About the programme

The three years Graduate Program in Aviation Management is the flagship program of AJK College of Arts and Science. In response to global trends and challenges facing the aviation industry, our College offers undergraduate (Bachelor) degree “B.B.A in Aviation Management” which aims to produce highly qualified professionals in the field of modern aviation management who would understand the challenges and laws of the global and competitive aviation sector, and contributes to the growth of aviation industry.

The curriculum is entirely focused to building the professional and practical abilities necessary for the Aviation field. Students will gain understanding of the operations of the aviation, travel, and tourism industries as well as practical skills in passenger forecasting, safety and security, aerodrome management, airport logistics, and the role of human resources in the sector, among other areas.

The curriculum also included with personality development programme geared on enhancing communication skills to deal with aviation customers.

Graduates have a wide range of job opportunities, including roles in passenger services, flight operations, airport logistics, and airline offices, services, and operations.
