AJK College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore (Autonomous), an A+ accredited institution by NAAC,, recently organized a transformative 2-day knitwear workshop through its Department of Costume Design and Fashion. The event, led by Mrs. R. Jasmine Sabeena, Proprietor of Spin & Stitch Woollen Crochet Wear, Ooty, focused on creating Hand Crochet Woollen Hand Warmers. The primary goal was to inspire students by enhancing their crochet skills, fostering creativity, and promoting personal growth through knitting.

The hands-on workshop emphasized multiple educational and developmental goals, including skill development, mindfulness, and creative expression. Students were introduced to the fundamentals of crochet and knitting, learning techniques such as casting on, pattern reading, and crafting their own projects like scarves or hats.
